Presentation of Natural Resources of Georgia
11 February 2020Chairman of GFTA Mr. Alexander Tushuri attended the presentation of investment projects of Natural Resources of Georgia, organized by Ministry of economy of Georgia and National Agency of Mineral Resources. Within the framework of the program, mineral resource deposits are selected from around different regions of Georgia and are sold at e-auction. The mineral deposits include gold and copper-polymetallic, ore, bentonite clay, volcanic slag, peat, diatomite, tuff breccia, zeolite-containing tuff, basalt, marble, limestone, underground fresh water and carbonated mineral water deposits.
The presentation was held at one of the basalt deposits in Kvemo Kartli, Georgia and was attended by Minister of Economy of Georgia – Ms. Natia Turnava, Members of Parliament of Georgia, Business associations, Business sector representatives and other government representatives.
In Total there was 100 investment opportunities presented, where government will support business to invest and develop the production facilities locally.
